Randomness going on in Our Week

On Sunday, Stu had a lot of studying/paper-writing to do.  But before he spent the entire day in the library and I spent the entire day sitting at home alone, we went out to breakfast.  We usually go the Glenwood but we decided to mix it up and go to that one breakfast place down West 11th.  You know the one...Ron Jeremy's Pancake House!

***Disclaimer--DO NOT Google Ron Jeremy***

Yumm!  Pork taco omelete!

I did not get the pork taco omelete but what I did get was pretty good.  I also discovered that the restaurant wasn't actually a Ron Jeremy Pancake house but rather the picture on the sign is of the owner.  He was our host and although a little gray, definitely could be Ron Jeremy's brother.

Today, to my great happiness, Stu and I discovered that PARTY CITY was open next to Market of Choice!!  Becca and I are really excited about this store because it is the ultimate in party decorations/supplies.  We were anxious for it to open and have planned on going together but I really needed star stickers and have been having a hard time finding them so I decided to look there.  Sorry...but I really only looked at the candy isle and the sticker isle so we still have plenty to explore.  I'm so excited!

Look what we found in the candy isle!!  I had to have
Stu stand next to it for a size comparison!

Afterwards Stu and I walked over to Market of Choice and realized that we had forgotten our environmentally friendly grocery bags at home.  When we told the sales assistant that she kind of laughed and told us that we could carry out our groceries so that the next time we would remember to bring the bags.  We laughed (you know, thinking that she was trying to be witty and to make conversation) and then a minute later, awkwardly carried our groceries out to the car in our hands...

Ha! I like your blog. I laughed out loud more than once! Sorry you had to awkwardly carry your own groceries. Did you learn your lesson? ;)

I laughed for a significantly long time at "Ron Jeremy's Pancake House". I drive by that place pretty often...now you know what I'll be thinking. :P
